New Tesla owners that pull into a spot on a supercharger right next to another Tesla that is already charging may quickly learn this new tip from the other owner:
Use a different numbered charger for faster charging.
If someone is charging on station 1A you should avoid charging on 1B unless it is the only unit available. According to veteran Tesla owners the kWh on both stations with the number 1 will drop when the second vehicle starts charging. In simplest terms this means both cars will now take longer to charge.
When pulling into a station try to use a different numbered Supercharger when connecting. You’ll be on the road faster and your fellow Tesla owners will thank you.
